Each Cohort group will have the opportunity to present their projects to each other and friends and collaborators at the Art of Freelance Headquarters located in the neighborhood of Highland Park, Los Angeles November 21-23, 2019.
Our address is: 5507 York Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90042.
The Showcases will begin at 7pm and will end at 10pm.
For those unable to travel to LA, special arrangements can be made with your Guide and the Art of Freelance office to set up a gallery of your work (ie display photos, artwork, etc.) and present a video on our projector.
Please note: Each Cohort is welcome to set up and meet with one another starting at 5pm the day of they'll be showcasing their work.
Each participant will have access to the following to present their work:
- 30 inch table (optional)
- Access to electricity
- Access to WiFi
- You will be able to use 3M adhesive hanging strips if you want to display anything on the wall in the space next to your table. The weight capacity for the strips is 16 lbs. We will provide strips for you to use.
Since the garage has cement walls, there is no drilling, nailing, or hanging of artwork. You are welcome to use adhesive strips to attach anything you want to the wall.
Wall Space for Artwork
You will have 4 feet (width) and 10 feet (height) to present your work. If you have any special requests please let us know as this may be flexible depending on the day you present.
5-7pm: Set up
7-8pm: Meet and greet.
8-8:30 You take the mic and introduce yourself and project to the audience. You are welcome to use our projector and screen to better display your project to the audience at this time.
For those unable to travel to Los Angeles, a prepared video presentation can be displayed on the projector. Please communicate with your Guide and/or Conor at Art of Freelance for planning purposes.
